Hello, I'm Jared Gruenwald, the owner of Left Eyed Studios. I'm a commercial photographer specializing in shooting people, places, sports and all the weird and wonderful moments that happen in between.
I've shot for a variety of the nation's largest publications, had the privilege of touring the world as a photographer on the pro tennis circuit and have worked with people from all walks of life. I'm currently based in Philadelphia and will happily travel around the corner or around the world for my next job.
One question I'm constantly asked is why Left Eyed Studios? Back when I was shooting tennis, someone snapped a shot of us shooting a match from the sideline bench. This was the first time I noticed that as a left eyed dominant shooter the camera covered my whole face while this was not the case with righties. The name just popped into my head then and stuck.
